15th September 2023 – Swachhata Pakhwada 2023
Cleanliness, Sanitation and Hygiene Drive! “Where there is cleanliness, there is good health, and where there is good health, there is happiness.”
Swachhata Awareness Message
Keeping your surroundings clean is an essential aspect of maintaining a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. From homes to public spaces, the importance of cleanliness cannot be overstated. A clean environment not only promotes good health but also creates a positive and welcoming atmosphere. It is the responsibility of everyone to keep their surroundings clean to ensure that the environment is protected from pollution and diseases
There are numerous benefits of keeping your surroundings clean.
- It can help in promoting good health as a clean environment reduces the chances of diseases and infections. A dirty surrounding can lead to the breeding of germs and bacteria, which can cause illnesses.
- Keeping your surroundings clean can create a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. It can improve your mental state and promote positivity and productivity. Thirdly, it can help in maintaining the beauty of the environment. Littering and dumping of waste not only make the area unsightly but also contribute to pollution.
- We can also help in preserving the beauty of our environment and protecting it from pollution and damage.
- Lastly, maintaining cleanliness shows respect for the environment and others. It is everyone's responsibility to keep their surroundings clean to ensure a healthy and sustainable lifestyle
We at SGS, Dwarka urge everyone to keep their surroundings clean for the sake of their own health and that of others. We live in an interconnected world where our actions have a direct impact on the environment and the people around us.
Ultimately, it is up to each one of us to take responsibility for our surroundings and ensure that we leave a clean and healthy environment for future generations. So, let us all do our part and keep our surroundings clean and make our Swachhata Pakhwada mission successful.

21st August 2023 – Paper Waste Collection Drive by the Students and Teachers
The most patriotic thing one can do is to take care of the environment.
Sachdeva Global School in collaboration with Blue Planet Solutions started a drive for collecting paper waste. The drive started on 21st August’23 and concluded on 21st October’23. Each student was expected to bring 5 kgs of paper waste and each teacher 7.5 kg of paper waste. With continued efforts and enthusiasm, the school has collected approximately 3500 kgs of paper waste. This paper waste was given for upcycling to Blue Planet Solutions organization. Recycling and upcycling preserves natural resources, saves energy and reduces greenhouse gas emissions and our carbon footprint, which in turn, supports the whole idea of zero waste production! And the list keeps ongoing with a no- brainer job!
In a condition where 17 trees produce 1 ton of paper, we have been successful enough to save approximately 60 trees and would continue doing so to preserve our environment.
We at Sachdeva Global School, Dwarka feel it is our social responsibility to continue such initiatives to create a more sustainable and eco-friendlier environment for the good of humankind!
