Annual Athletic Meet (Classes Buds-II)
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts."
Sports are incredibly important for students as they support both physical and emotional development at a crucial stage of growth. Engaging in physical activities helps young children improve their motor skills, balance, coordination, and strength, laying the foundation for a healthy lifestyle. It also teaches us valuable social skills such as teamwork, sharing, and communication, as children learn to work together and follow rules. Additionally, participating in sports helps children build self-confidence, as they experience success and overcome challenges in a supportive, non-competitive environment. It also provides an opportunity for children to develop discipline, focus, and resilience, all while having fun.
An ‘Annual Athletic Meet’ was organized by Sachdeva Global School for the students of Classes Buds to II on 11th December 2024. The event started with releasing of balloons by the HOS and Pre-Primary Incharge to mark the beginning of the meet. Our students showcased sportsmanship, work, dedication and tenacity. They were full of vim and vigour to participate and show their athletic mettle. On this day, students participated in different fun races such as the Toffee Eating Race, Under the Hurdle Race, Ball Balancing Race, Marker collection race etc.
The Head of School, Ms Miti Dhingra along with the Headmistress and Incharges rewarded the winners with medals and certificates and congratulated them for their victory.
