ADMISSION CRITERIA FOR PRE-SCHOOL CLASS
ACADEMIC SESSION – 2025-2026
In pursuance to the Director of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi order F.DE.15 (172)/PSB/2016/8873-8882 dated 18.10.2023 the following criteria have been laid down for admission to Pre-School Class in the school for the year 2025-26.

|
25% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the E.W.S. Category/ Disadvantaged group/Orphan who are eligible as per conditions laid down in Govt. Notification no 15(172)/DE/Act/2010/69 dated 07.01.2011 and subsequent orders
(Admissions in this category shall be done based on computerized
draw to be conducted by DOE and sponsored to the school)

School Admission Specific Criteria (General Seats)
The School specific admission criteria has been devised on a 100-point scale to be distributed as under:

3.1 In case of Neighbourhood, the applications must be accompanied by Google road map showing the distance from their residence to the school. Points would be given according to the defined number of kilometers in a range.
3.2 In case of siblings, the application must be accompanied by self-attested photocopy of the Student’s Identity Card
(both sides) and photocopy of the latest fee payment receipt of the sibling student indicating the admission number.
3.3 In case of Staff wards the application must be accompanied by self-attested photocopy of the Identity Card (both
sides) of SGS employees.
3.4 Selection of Candidates for admission in Pre-School Class during the session 2025-2026
- School follows the 100-point scale system.
- Out of the total applications from the neighborhood range and Sibling Criteria admission would be first offered to the candidates attaining maximum points.
- If the applications attaining similar points are more than the seats of general category, the draw of lots shall be conducted to admit the students against the number of available seats.
- If vacancies remain unfilled after exhausting the applications from the first lot of maximum scorers, the applications from the next lot of maximum scorers shall be considered in the above manner
EWS & DG Category
The school shall not process the admission of EWS/DG Category students. The D.O.E. will process the applications online for admission in schools as per the guidelines.
Age
As per D.O.E. order the child should be at least three (03) years old and must be less than 04 years old as on 31st March 2025. This includes all the children born between 01.04.2021 & 31.03.2022
Registration
The process of Nursery Registration will be conducted both via online and offline modes.
For OFFLINE Registration: Standardized registration forms shall be available at the Gate no. 2 of the school on all working days from Thursday, 28 November 2024 to Friday, 20 December 2024 between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on payment of Rs.25/- only.
The filled in forms should be deposited at Gate no. 2 of the school between 10:00 am to 03:00 pm on all working days. The last date for deposit of application form for registration shall be Friday, 20 December 2024 upto 03.00 pm.
For ONLINE Registration: Online Registration forms will be available on the school website. The direct link to apply online will be available in the Admission page of the school website from 12:00 am Thursday, 28 November 2024 to 11:59 pm Friday, 20 December 2024. Instructions and guidelines to fill the online form available on the website should be carefully read and followed.
Documents Required
General Category
- One Self-attested photocopy of the birth certificate issued by the competent authority.
- Self-attested copy of (any two) of the following documents:
> Ration Card issued in the name of parents (Mother/father having name of child)
> Domicile certificate of child or of his/her parents.
> Voter I-Card (EPIC) of any of the parents.
> Electricity Bill/ MTNL Bill/ Water Bill/ Passport in the name of any of the parents or child
> Aadhar Card/ UID Card issued in the name of any of the parents.
- Attach Google road map for distance.
- Self-attested photocopy of the Identity Card (both sides) and latest fee receipt showing the admission number of the sibling, in case of sibling category.
- Self-attested photocopy of the Identity Card (both sides) in case of ward of SGS employees.
Admission
The admission shall be made without any discrimination of caste/religion/region etc. by the admission committee under the Chairmanship of the Principal and assisted by the Incharge (Pre-School).
No interview or interaction shall be held with the candidates or parents.
