Timeless Travels
One of the most treasured memories of school life are the picnics, educational trips and adventure camps attended with friends. To ensure that our students can add more to this treasure, every year the school organizes visits for all. Smiling faces, twinkling eyes and giggling laughter - are our memories from each such trip. And yes together we learn sharing and caring, team spirit and time management and come back enriched and empowered.
Students visit the local markets, post office, sports complex, Bal Bhawan, Rashtrapati Bhawan, traffic park, Air Force Museum, National Science Museum, Orphanages and Old Age Homes as part of their extended learning and our Community Outreach programme. Links to our Trips and Excursions

13th November 2024 – Pearl Academy Campus Visit
"Creativity is intelligence having fun." — Albert Einstein
On 13th November 2024, students from Classes XI and XII of Sachdeva Global School, Dwarka, had an enriching visit to Pearl Academy's Rajouri Garden campus in Delhi. The group was warmly welcomed by the faculty at 9 a.m., kicking off their day with a tour of the Media Lab, where they watched a film screening and learned about media production techniques.
The students then participated in two interactive workshops. In the ‘Cape to Drape’ session, they explored their creativity in fashion design, creating unique garments and drapes. The second workshop, focused on Animation, allowed them to craft flipbooks and understand the basics of animation and storytelling.
Other engaging activities included textile printing, a photoshoot modelling experience, and a visit to the Interior Design studio, where students observed how design principles create functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces. In the Green Screen Room, they gained insights into the application of visual effects in media production. The day concluded with an exploration of Fashion Communication, where students learned about the intersection of media, branding, and fashion.
The visit provided students with valuable hands-on experience in creative fields, inspiring them to explore potential career paths in design, fashion, and media.

06th November 2024 – Annual Excursion (Classes VI-VIII)
"An excursion is more than just a trip—it's an adventure where we learn, have fun, and make unforgettable memories!"
Sachdeva Global School recently organized an exciting excursion to Smaaash, Dwarka for students of Classes VI to VIII. The trip aimed to provide students with a fun, interactive experience beyond the classroom, enhancing social skills, teamwork, and mental agility.
Class 6 kicked off the adventure on October 22, where students were thrilled to engage in a variety of activities including virtual reality games, bowling, and virtual cricket. Their enthusiasm and sportsmanship were evident as they navigated each attraction, making the day both enjoyable and memorable.
Following this, Classes 7 and 8 visited Smaaash on November 6. The older students took on more challenging attractions like racing simulators, VR experiences, and team-based interactive games. The trip encouraged friendly competition, teamwork, and quick thinking, with students cheering each other on and showcasing impressive collaboration. Each excursion was carefully planned and supervised by dedicated faculty, ensuring students enjoyed a safe and enriching experience. Sachdeva Global School remains committed to holistic education, with excursions like this fostering personal growth and a refreshed approach to learning.

25th October 2024 – Excursion to Chokhi Dhani
‘An excursion can be a simple journey, but the memories made are often the most profound adventures of all.’
On October 25, 2024, the teachers and students of ClasseS IX-XII from Sachdeva Global School, Dwarka, embarked on a culturally enriching excursion to Chokhi Dhani, Sonepat. This outing aimed to provide a change from academic rigor while offering insights into the vibrant traditions of rural India. The group departed early, animated with enthusiasm, engaging in lively interactions and songs during the journey. Upon arrival, they were ceremoniously welcomed with traditional tilak and the rhythmic beats of dhol, establishing an inviting ambiance.
The venue showcased an array of Rajasthani heritage activities. Students thoroughly enjoyes the camel and bullock cart rides and participated in pottery-making, enhancing their experiential learning. They were entranced by local folk dance and music performances, which imbued the day with festive spirit. A culinary highlight was the Rajasthani lunch, featuring authentic delicacies such as dal baati churma and gatte ki sabzi. The afternoon culminated in spirited activities at the game zones, including archery, dart games, and puppet shows, fostering camaraderie among students and teachers.
As evening descended, the group bid farewell, departing with joyous hearts and indelible memories. This excursion not only provided a break from the routine but also deepened their appreciation for Indian culture.

21st October 2024 – Visit to ISKCON Temple (Classes Buds-Blooms)
“In God’s embrace, the heart finds peace.”
The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), also known as the Hare Krishna movement, is a spiritual organization founded by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in 1966. ISKCON temples are renowned for their vibrant spiritual atmosphere, beautiful architecture, and devotion to Lord Krishna. On 21st October 2024, students from classes Buds and Blooms, along with their teachers and support staff, visited the ISKCON Temple located in Sector 13, Dwarka. The purpose of the visit was to observe the temple's practices, participate in its rituals, and explore the cultural richness associated with the temple.
Upon entering the ISKCON temple, there was an immediate sense of peace and tranquility. The atmosphere was serene, filled with the sound of melodious chants and the fragrance of incense. Devotees were engaged in prayers, singing hymns, and meditating, creating a calming and spiritual ambiance.
The visit was not only a spiritual experience but also a cultural one. The devotees at the temple were welcoming and eager to share information about their practices. It was a fulfilling and enlightening experience, leaving everyone with a sense of peace and inner calm.

21st October 2024 – Annual Excursion (Classes III-V)

The school organized an exciting excursion on 21st October, 2024 for the students of Classes III - V to SMAASH, an indoor sports and entertainment complex located in Dwarka Sector 13, New Delhi. The excursion was designed to offer students a fun-filled day away from the regular classroom environment, filled with thrilling games, virtual reality experiences, and physical activities.
The primary objective of the excursion was to provide a recreational yet educational experience for the young students, encouraging teamwork, enhancing motor skills, and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle through interactive sports and games. It also aimed to foster social interaction and bonding among students in a playful and engaging environment. Students explored the various activities and games offered at the venue including, bowling and virtual reality games where they could participate in simulated roller coasters, alien adventures, and other exciting digital environments. The arcade section was buzzing with energy as students tried their hands at racing games, basketball shootouts, and other interactive games. These activities provided a balance of cognitive engagement and recreational. In addition to having fun, students developed teamwork skills as they collaborated during games like bowling. The excursion promoted the values of healthy competition, sportsmanship, and collaboration. It also served as a platform for physical activity, which is essential for the overall development of young children.
The day was a resounding success. It provided a much-needed break from the academic routine while offering a perfect blend of fun, physical activity, and learning. The students left with smiles on their faces, new memories, and a greater appreciation for teamwork and technology-driven entertainment.

24th September 2024 – Movie Outing (Classes I-II)
“Movies turn ordinary days into extraordinary experiences.”
Watching a movie is a fun and exciting way to escape into a world of imagination. Whether it is an action-packed adventure, a heartwarming story, or a hilarious comedy, movies offer something for everyone. The lights go down, and suddenly you are transported to another place, where you can meet new characters, explore different lands, and experience all kinds of emotions. It is a chance to relax, enjoy some popcorn, and let your mind wander through the unfolding scenes. Movies can make you laugh, feel excited, or even think about things in a new way. It is a wonderful way to spend time with friends or family, sharing the joy of storytelling together.
On 24th September 2024, students of Classes I and II were given the opportunity to experience the joy of cinema through a special outing to watch the movie ‘Garfield.’ This outing offered students an enjoyable and stimulating experience, enabling them to immerse themselves in a realm of imagination and storytelling. The colorful animation and Garfield's humorous antics captivated the students, eliciting joyful reactions throughout the film. Many students shared giggles and whispers with their friends, fully engaged in the unfolding story. Their enthusiasm was evident as they reacted to the funny scenes, demonstrating their connection to the characters and the narrative.
Overall, the outing was a great success. It gave the students a fun and memorable experience, where they enjoyed the movie and spent quality time with their classmates. The day helped strengthen their friendships and made them appreciate the joy of watching a good story together.

31st July 2024 – Movie Excursion (III-V)

On 31st July 2024 students of classes III & IV had the opportunity to attend a special screening of the movie ‘Despicable Me 4’ at PVR INOX Cinemas. The excursion aimed to provide a learning experience outside the classroom. It was also an opportunity for students to engage in a shared activity, promoting social interaction and teamwork.
The movie, Despicable Me 4, was chosen for its genre, themes and family value. It provided a blend of adventure and humour that kept the students engaged. The storyline, characters, and visual effects were particularly captivating, and students responded positively throughout the screening. It offered both, entertainment and food for thought, aligning well with learning goals. The movie featured several key themes, including friendship, courage and the victory of good over evil. These themes were particularly pertinent to the students' curriculum and offered valuable life lessons. The visual storytelling and narrative style provided an immersive experience that enhanced the students' understanding and appreciation of the subject matter.
The movie excursion was a successful and enjoyable experience for all. Students were able to relax and have fun while also engaging in meaningful conversations about the content. It successfully combined entertainment with learning and made the day memorable for the young minds.
