The British Council- International School Award, 2018-21 The British Council- International School Award, 2018-21

Sachdeva Global School was conferred with the British Council International School Award (ISA) for the second consecutive time on 5 December, 2018.  The ISA Award has its presence in 31 countries around the world and recognizes and celebrates exemplary practices of ‘internationalism’ in schools. 

The award holds a testimony to the fact that SGS has been meeting international standards of teaching and learning from the past six years.

Sachdeva Global School won the prestigious GSP Award (Green School Programme) in November, 2017. SGS is an active member of CSE (Centre for Science and Environment) and competed with around 1000 schools for the coveted trophy. 

Green School Programme (GSP) is an environmental education program directed to sensitize students to the environment through hands-on and thought provoking activities.  It helps schools become good environmental managers by devising strategies and adopting pragmatic solutions to reduce wastage of precious resources.

SGS strongly believes in the importance of reducing its carbon footprint and endeavours to continue championing the cause of an ecologically balanced environment. An Automation drive was carried out as part of GSP where students developed an in-house automated switching system to save energy in the classroom.  This activity found special mention in the Annual dossier published by the CSE (Centre for Science and Environment).  The dossier publishes best practices of schools across India to conserve energy.
