India in 2050
will definitely be
more developed
as compared to
today. Education
will become more
prevalent and
about 75%-90%
Indian people will
speak English. Digital education will become a norm.
We might not see any pregnant women and all the
children will be born through lab procedures in
2050.
Ola and Uber will ply only un-manned taxis. You
might also see some of these companies running
air services.
Land will become a scarce resource and vertical
growth will reach unprecedented heights.
With advancements in genetic engineering,
medical treatments will become more effective
and people will live longer.
The silicon world will further advance and smart
phones with the capabilities like those of a
supercomputer will become a reality.
Smart cities with infrastructural help and support
for the disabled will become a reality.
India’s space program will become advanced
enough to help people travel to distant planets.
Though India will see several technological
advancements but it will not see any change in
the social ethics which binds the people of our
nation. This will be an example for the World
where the humanity seems to be drifting away
with the machines.

INDIA IN 2050
India is a fast developing nation and even when
the World Economy was doomed, we were the
only nation with a steady growth curve. By 2050,
India would have definitely grown and evolved
much more than what we see here today. India,
like Japan, America or other technically advanced
nations, would have proved its mettle in the field
of technology.
1. Maglev train would become a reality in
India. Though this technology is currently
experienced only in countries like China, Japan
and a few other European nations, the Indian
Railways would have integrated the technology
into its network well by 2050.
2. Homes and Industries, fully powered by the
solar plants, will become a reality. People will
carry mobile solar chargers as a source of
clean and renewable energy.
3. Electric run vehicles, charging stations-instead
of the fuel pumps and planes running on solar
charged engines will become a common sight.
4. Cars and other vehicles flying in the air will be
natural. Un-manned means of transport, multi-
level buses (that will allow other vehicles to run
below them) will be seen all around.
5. More advance genetic engineering techniques
would have evolve that would allow better
medical treatments and longevity.
6. AI and bots will become our companions and will
serve us more loyally than human help.
7. Though India will probably become a technology
oriented nation and would compete with the
other technical super-powers of the World, India
will continue to carry its’ culture and heritage
that truly defines India.
