India 2019 - India has improved a lot from the past but still some people are
reluctant to a growth-mindset. People have to wait in large queues to get treatment
in government hospitals. The pollution level is rising. Environmental sanitation is also
a major problem in India.
India in 2050 - I would love to see India where there are equal opportunities for women
in the society. All government facilities should reach even in the remote areas of the
country. Government will provide farmers good quality seeds, fertilizers, irrigation facilities etc either
free of cost or at a subsidized rate. Also, it will ensure proper education and healthcare for all.

Geetanjali Rai, IX-C

India 2019 - Right now, India has emerged as the world’s sixth largest economy at $2.6
trillion. Developments are taking place each and every day. Not only the entrepreneurs
but also scientists at ISRO and the movie makers from the film industry have taken
pride towards the eminent successions. The young leaders have made India a better
place by ensuring the safety of everyone and helping in maintaining India’s dignity.
India in 2050 - I hope that my country would become an inspirational country for the
entire world. Our talented young people won’t go abroad to study, since our country would become a
place where people from abroad would come to study. Organizations like ISRO would continue doing
extraordinary deeds to make us proud. Moreover, the Indian film industry would also be making sensible
and content-driven films

India 2019 - Today India is one of the fastest growing economies of the world. The
space program in India is breaking world records by every successful feat, making all
Indians proud. Brain drain is slowly turning to brain gain, as more people are coming
back to India due to favourable policies & incentives. But there is still a lot of work to be
done. India comes under the top 10 most dangerous places for women & also has a high
ranking in the global hunger index.
India in 2050 - I wish to see India in 2050 as a safe place for the young and old. I wish that the stress
students have to clear exams is gone, and instead, they can choose the profession of their choice.
Our generation is very fortunate to have witnessed the historic removal of section 377 from the Indian
Constitution legally, the LGBTQ community is safe, but we are far from achieving social acceptance for
them which I think would change in 30 years. By 2050, I wish to see India as a safe country to live in.

India 2019 - India in 2019 is on its way to achieve perfection. Every day we see India
achieving greater heights in terms of technology and better lifestyle. However, we
also have some weak areas in terms of women safety, crime rates, health sector, and
food production but I believe that these problems can be solved with collaborative
efforts.
India in 2050 - India in 2050 will be something we could be proud of; the technology in
India would be free from human effort. What I believe is that India in 2050 will be free from its nuisance
of crimes, poverty, health issues and food crises. The schools in 2050 may be in holographic manner.
There would be robot teachers instead of humans. The cars would have anti-accidents mode which
would prevent accidents from happening.
