India 2019 - India does not have enough opportunities and basic necessities for
people. The garbage is thrown freely and no action is taken against it. The present
government has taken many initiatives like the Swaach Bharat Abhiyaan but people
do not understand how little changes can make a big difference.
India in 2050 - India will have having enough opportunities and all basic necessities to
provide its people. The streets will be clean and no garbage will be thrown out. People
will plant trees and employ policies that will be environment-friendly.
Mrinank Pratham, VI-E
India 2019 - India now in 2019 has completed 72 years of Independence from British
raj. Population of India 2019 (looking into the latest UN date) approximate population
of 1,350,438,98. Also, “India is forecast to become the world’s fifth largest country in
economy in 2019, reaching a total GDP size exceeding $3 trillion.”
India in 2050 - India will have world class roads and these roads will be quite durable
because by that time 90% of the Indian roads will be made by plastic. 90% of the vehicle
will either run on ethanol or battery. Thus, reducing India’s dependence on oil, finally India will import
less oil from Iran, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela.

INDIA 2019 - India is a developing country and in order to ensure further development
the government needs to keep a check on its population levels, pollution levels,
increasing corruption. But nevertheless it has worked on its outsourcing business,
and exports so that the profits can be used for the economic development of our
country. India has progressed in the fields of science and technology, mass media and
education.
INDIA in 2050 - We will see India as one of the largest economies of the world. We will have enough
jobs to meet the needs of the people. Moon will become a holiday destination. Cars will run on battery.
India will become clean and green with no pollution. Artificial intelligence and robotics will take the
technologies to a higher level. Education will be accessible to all. Proper safety of the women will be
ensured. Our lives and the nation will undergo a lot of changes in the next 31 years.
Siddharth Kalita, VI- E
India 2019 - India has emerged as one of the fastest growing economies of the world.
A large base of young population combined with favourable economic policies has
fuelled our growth. However, in spite of our financial success, still many people go to
bed hungry. Many do not have shelter or access to education and healthcare. Increasing
pollution is acting as a threat to people’s lives. These issues must be addressed with
urgency to aid India’s progress in the future.
India in 2050 - By 2050, I see India as a developed nation. The problems of corruption, poverty and
illiteracy will be totally eradicated. No section of society will be a victim of exploitation or discrimination.
Poverty, starvations and lack of proper healthcare will no more be the reasons behind people’s deaths.
Communal violence, religious strife and terrorism would be the things of the past. Cities will become
more advanced with reduced levels of pollution. I envision students vying for admissions in our
universities. I see an India which will be respected for its efforts in enhancing the quality of living and
valuing human life.
