India 2019 - The world is witnessing the present-day India as the fastest growing
economy. Though there is rapid growth in population, sectors such as information
technology, infrastructure, retail, financial services and health care seen a major
boom lately. While a good number of people are contributing towards the country’s
economic growth, many people are still unable to make their ends meet.
India in 2050 - A positive vision for India in 2050 appears before my eyes. India will lead
the world as a superpower. Malnutrition will be reduced and the per capita income of our country will
be sufficient to feed every citizen. Women will be safe and secure in our country and there will be equal
job opportunities for both men and women. Our education system will be holistic. Infrastructure will be
upgraded making way for Hyper-loop, Electric vehicles, Solar – powered vehicles, and High Speed Rail
network corridors. I envision that there would be free education until post-graduation along with free
          healthcare.

          ARIV SHARMA, VI-E

India 2019 - Being a developing country, pollution has led its way and has started
taking many lives by causing diseases like lung cancer, respiratory disorders etc.
India has progressed in the field on education but there are still people that are not
educated and need to take up begging in order to earn a living.
India in 2050 - India in 2050 will be a better place to live in. Pollution levels will be under
control. The poverty levels will reduce and employment opportunities will increase. The
literacy rates will increase and caste system will no longer be prevalent.

          Avishi, VI-E

India 2019 - India is a developing country and unless women are empowerment, the
country will not able to remove the tag of a ‘developing nation’. It is also the most
          important key to socio-economic development.
India in 2050 - I envision my country to have a considerable edge over other nations in
terms of technology, environment management, defense, education, science, economic
growth development. Problems of corruption, poverty, backwardness and illiteracy will
be completely removed from the face of the country by 2050. Also, many new technologies will arise.

          Aegle, VIII-C

India 2019 - Our country has grown to a global agricultural power house, after being
dependent on other countries for grain import for last so many years. Life expectancy
and literacy rates have been more than doubled in the last few years. Some of the most
remarkable developments in the country include increased urbanization, remarkable
developments in many fields including focused tourism, improved power sector, military
research and development, achievements in the space sector including the launch of
          ‘chandrayan-2’ being the most recent.
INDIA in 2050 - By 2050, we expect India to develop into world’s number one economy and the most
populous country with 50% people expected to live in urban areas. Maintaining robots in houses shall
become affordable and easy, supporting us with daily chores, be it cleaning the house, cooking, etc. not
only this, the education sector would seemingly transform through the creation of highly knowledgeable
and skilled workforce. Also, energy efficiencies shall see significant development and improvement
resulting in cars, mobiles, homes and even offices consuming less power. India will become the world’s
leading producers of computer software, revolutionizing the field of science and technology. In 2050,
India will achieve 100% literacy rate, internet reachability shall be close to 80-90% with improved
          access to electricity.
