NEW INFRASTRUCTURAL INITIATIVES AT SGS

Commencement of the New Junior Library
“Books break the shackles of time – proof that humans can
          work magic.” – Carl Sagan
Reading is one of the fundamental skills a child needs to learn
in order to succeed in life as it helps in developing different
genres of vocabulary of the language, increases attention span
of an individual, encourages a thirst for knowledge and leads to
lifelong love for books as well.
With a view to enhance the learning proficiency and reading skills
of little ones, a junior school library with a collection of 2600 books
was established on 15 July 2019. The copious collection of books
includes interesting books like fairy tales, moral based stories,
phonics, Mathematics and counting. To arouse the interest and
inclination of students for reading picture dictionary, pop up-
3D books, series are also available for the students of classes
Buds to II. The junior library creates an inclusive atmosphere for
the students to develop an interest in reading and widens the
          horizon of students.

          WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT

‘Make every drop of water count’
Water is one of the most precious and essential resource without which
we cannot imagine the existence of life. However in today’s fast growing
world, there has been an ever rising demand for fresh water and it has only
led to shortage of water. It becomes our duty as a responsible citizen to
conserve water and reduce its wastage. One essential step in this regard
has been taken up by Sachdeva Global School with the installation of a
WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT in the campus which has the capacity
of producing 20,000 litres of treated water
per day. This plant cleans and recycles the
          waste water generated by wash-rooms
in school and the treated water is again
pumped back to wash-rooms for further
use. The whole waste water treatment has
contributed a great deal in reducing the
wastage of water by recycling it and hence
          in conserving this precious resource.
