No matter who you are or where you’re going in life, a little magic here and there just brightens your day and your life. To keep the magical spirits of the children alive, a Magic Show was organised by Sachdeva Global School, Dwarka in collaboration with Hindustan Times for the children of classes 4 and 5.

The show started with a brief introduction and in no time, everyone gathered around the magician, Mr. Mahesh Kumar with glittering eyes waiting for the magical wand to do its trick. The magician pulled some tricks using his hat, some ordinary papers and hilarious spells. Children couldn’t contain their excitement to go up on the stage to be the magical assistants because they were ready to challenge what seems impossible and see the world with new eyes. The whole auditorium was filled with awe and laughter as the children applauded continuously as one magic trick led to other.

The cleverly executed, spellbinding magic tricks and the enthusiastic participation of the students made us realise that genius is not doubt another word for magic, and the whole point of magic is that it is inexplicable.

The light-hearted event ended with a message that during the many trials and tribulations of life, we might forget to enjoy little things but there is always hope and magic in the world if you simply know where to look for it.
