WATER CYCLE ACTIVITY 10th December 2020 – WATER CYCLE ACTIVITY

Evaporation, condensation,
precipitation on my mind.
They are part of the water cycle
and they happen all the time!

The water cycle describes how water evaporates from the surface of the earth, rises into the atmosphere, cools and condenses into rain or snow in clouds, and falls again to the surface as precipitation. The cycling of water in and out of the atmosphere is a significant aspect of the weather pattern on Earth. To strengthen the understanding of students for the above, an activity was planned for the students of class II on 10 December 2020.

The teacher explained the process of water cycle to the students and guided them to create their own 'Water Cycle' hanging. In the learning-oriented process, some questions were also put up to the students at the end of the activity to ensure a complete understanding of the topic. The students thoroughly enjoyed the active learning session and posed confidently holding their creative ' Water Cycle' hangings.

They are our support system, make us learn a lot of new things, help us with our work, instil good values in us and help us through all stages of life. Even when we grow up, the one person that we always look up to is our mother. Mothers are our guardian angels and the only person in the world who is worried about us even when we aren’t children anymore. Mother’s Day is one such day which is celebrated on the second Sunday of May every year to thank our mothers for all that they have done for us. To enlighten our students more about Mother’s Day, a special activity ‘Mother’s Day Card Making’ was organized for classes I & II.
