May 2013 - CBSE FEEDBACK
Congratulations to the management, staff & students of SGS – CBSE has placed the school under ‘GOOD’ (highest) category in their feedback of the, “Analysis of evidence of assessment of class X, 2012-13.”
As per the report, Quote “School has conducted the formative assessment with challenging tasks. All the activities done under co-scholastic areas are very good.” Unquote. School is preparing students for life keeping pace with the world, the international exchange of ideas, sets the school distinctively apart as an educational establishment beyond comparison.
SGS will enable the students to realize their dreams and reach perfection!
14th May 2013 - KAVITA PRATIYOGITA : PRAKRITI
Hindi kavita pratiyogita was held on 14 May 2013 for the students of Class – I. The theme of the competition was ‘Prakriti’. The students were well prepared with the props and the costumes related to their presentation. Some of the students were dressed up vibrantly with innovative props. The confidence level of the students was very high. This competition gave them the opportunity to showcase their talents.

10th May 2013 - International Family Day
Students of class – I-B presented an assembly on 10 May 2013, on the topic ‘International Family Day’.
“Love overflows and joy never ends in a home that is blessed with family and friends.”
The students spoke about different family members and their unique roles which bonds the family as a circle of strength and love. Some students sang a melodious song to describe the special relationship between the family members. It was followed by the ‘Thought of the day’, and distribution of certificates for the event, ‘War on Waste’ which was held on 29 April 2013. The entire class participated in the assembly and efforts of the students were praised by the head of the school Mrs. Novita Chopra.
09th MAY 2013 - CONFLUENCE 2013 – A GLOBAL PANORAMA
With the thought of bringing young minds together on one platform, Sachdeva Global School organized ‘CONFLUENCE 2013 – AGLOBAL PANORAMA’, an Inter School Festival to relish and cherish the expressions of students from classes Nursery to XI, on 09 May 2013.The theme of the fest was ‘ENVIRONMENT – A GLOBAL CONCERN’.
The competition provided a forum for the creative indulgence of the students and an opportunity to showcase the multitude of talent in the youngsters of today. A panel of qualified professionals was invited to judge the events in a free and fair manner.
The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guests of the day, Mr Anil Sachdeva, Vice Chairman, SGS and MrsKiranGambhir, Advisor, Sachdeva Group of institutions along with the Head of the School, MrsNovita Chopra. A welcome dance, yoga performance and a rock concert by the SGS students set the mood of the day.
Diverse competitions for varied age groups were organized, which ranged from Fancy dress Competition for Pre- Nursery and Pre –Primary to Dress Designing Competition for the Senior School students. Piano Competition, Choreography, Dramatics Competition, Declamation, Robotics Challenge, Website designing, Gaming….. it was a true extravaganza!!!
20 schools from Dwarka and West Delhi participated in this gala event. The prizes and trophies were given away at the Closing ceremony by the chief guests. The overall winner school was given, newly launched HCL Tablet.The event was a grand success and proved once again that at Sachdeva Global School, “Excellence has no limits”!!
