INDEPENDENCE DAY
“This nation will remain the land of the free only so long
as it is the home of the brave” -Elmer Davis
Sachdeva Global School celebrated the glorious occasion of our 72nd Independence Day on 10th Aug,
2108 in the school ground. The program began with welcoming the revered dignitaries of the school
management followed by the flag hoisting ceremony and an inspirational speech by the Chairman,
Shri S.K. Sachdeva. The cultural extravaganza began with an orchestral tribute with the mesmerizing
tunes of Ae Watan and Rise India Rise. The pathos of the Indian soldiers and leaders was beautifully
exhibited through a spell bounding Mime Act which left the audience awe-struck. The synchronized
dance performance to semi classical music and the western beats on the tunes of Namaste India was
a scintillating display of unity and strength. The memorable moment of releasing the balloons by the
chief guests marked the closing of the ceremony with the singing of National Anthem.
