INDEPENDENCE DAY

Sachdeva Global School celebrated the momentous occasion of 73rd Anniversary of Independence
Day of the country with patriotic fervour and zeal.
The event began with the unfurling of the National Flag on the rhythmic tunes of the National Anthem,
followed by a motivating speech by Shri S. K. Sachdeva, Chairman of Sachdeva Group of Schools. The
event was also attended by other members of the board- Dr. R.C. Chadha, Mrs. Kiran Gambhir, Dr. S. N.
Maheshwari, Mr. Anil Sachdeva and Mr. Sunil Maheshwari.
The students presented a cultural show which focussed on the journey of how India gained
independence and the progress that the Indians have made since then. Saluting the spirit of
independence, a pledge taking ceremony was organized which was an initiative to awaken the spirit
of all the citizens that they should leave no stone unturned and work towards the progress of the
nation. To mark the closing of the ceremony, tri-coloured balloons were released by the dignitaries.
