The event began with the unfurling of the national flag by the Chairman
to celebrate the 70th republic day of mother India. It was followed by
presentation of the annual report by Ms. Sumana Dutta Sarkar, Head
of School and the Annual Award ceremony. Another key highlight of the
event was the release of the Annual School Magazine “Alchemy 2018-19”
on the theme “Breaking the Glass Ceiling”. The program encompassed
creative presentations by Globalites in the form of a live musical and
dance extravaganza followed by a spellbinding visual presentation of
varied ramifications of mother-nature in the form of wind, water, earth,
sky and fire. Finally, Globalites paid a tribute to the overarching concept of
‘mother-country’ through a dance performance and mime. In a nutshell,
the event was a grand success which left the audience yearning for more
and brimming with patriotic fervour and zeal.
