Education is not merely the dissemination of information-
it is the art of training the mind of a learner to be independent
of influence or fear while delving to seek explanations of everything
that happens around. The essence of a true independent mind lies
not in What it thinks, but How it thinks. Providing this skill of free and self-
regulating thinking is far from a cake-walk…it is an extremely demanding objective
which requires immense passion, dedication, determination and commitment.
Team-Sachdeva Global School is indoctrinated into this philosophy of crafting such liberated
thinkers who will critically examine thoughts and actions- first their own and then of the world
and be true judges of What Should Be. Every issue of Alchemy has been an evidence of this
out-of-the-box thinking that the Globalites are triggered towards…and showcases the power
of the ‘Thinking Youth’. I applaud the students and the staff members of the Editorial Board for
bringing up yet another invigorating issue with the theme ‘Envisioning India 2050’ which should
make each of us envision the way we want the future to be and make corrective changes to the
present……If only we can unfold the future….the present will be our greatest care!
