The apple fell numerous times before and after. It was only Newton
who caught the Gravity in it!!!
Education is not merely a cognitive exchange between the learner
and the facilitator….Effective education must aim at moving from
darkness to light, from ignorance to knowledge, from fearfulness to
courage. In today’s world of diminishing conviction, it is imperative
to have an education system that builds free thoughts, which
are not clouded by stereotypical notions. Every child needs
to take a fresh look at the world around; realize the relativity
of absolute truths and facts; and experiment and establish
new theories. To receive meaningful education is to be
freed from the shackles of self-limiting thoughts and
actions…and to emerge confident and ready to fly!!

Sachdeva Global School offers a comfortable
platform to the students to plunge into this
experimentation, without the fear of committing
errors. “Alchemy” 2018-19, with its theme
“Breaking the Glass Ceiling”, is dedicated
to bringing out this fearless spirit in every
student, so that each Globalite can take a
leap of faith and conquer new horizons. I
congratulate the staff and students of
the Editorial Board for their successful
attempt in putting down this
difficult theme in print, alongside
showcasing the achievements of
the school in this academic year.
